GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

VERY GOOD "PAMPA" FIELD ideal for BREEDING-REBREEDING, clean, of soft Sandy soil, constituted of natural pastures with species with high acceptability for the animals, with aptitude for implantation of cultivated pastures like whiner grass and digitaria.

LOCATED NEARLY THE LIMIT WITH SAN LUIS AND MENDOZA IS THE TOPOGRAPHICAL CONTINUATION OF THE SOUTH AREA OF SAN LUIS, VERY GOOD CATTLE PRODUCTION AREA AND FOR PASTURES NEAR THE SALADO RIVER WHICH IS LOCATED AT FEW KILOMETERS OF THIS LOT.

PRODUCTIVE, SOIL AND LCIMATE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE AREA

In the area prevail the natural apstures in which is carried out as the principal activity the breeding of bovines.
The natural pastures are constituted of species adapted to Sandy soils being capable for the implantation of cultivated pastures based on whiner grass, medic and cebadilla.
The annual half temperature is 15.8 ºC, being the most hot month January with a monthly temperature average of 24.2 ºC. The month most cold is June with 7.0 ºC. The absolute maximum temperature is registered in January with values that go from 42.4 ºC. and the absolute minimum is -14.4 ºC. in July.The annual thermal half amplitude is 17.1 ºC.
The rain register surrounds the 400-500 mm, concentraiting them in October October to march. It is important to highlight that at march of 2010 fell 120 mm , for this reason the natural pastures is in very good conditions of development.

CURRENT AND POTENTIAL PRODUCTIVE SITUATION OF THE FIELD

It treats about a field ideal for the breedind and rebreeding of bovines because it is constituted of natural pastures in which exist species of high acceptability for the animals between them it is possible to mention flechilla crespa, flechilla fina, grass of leaf, tupe chamomile, among others.
It counts with aptitutde to seed whiner grass, existing a Project developed at profesional level to carry out the implantation of the same one and thanks to the water it can be well tree covered to obtain shadow in summer. 100 Ha have been seeded with whiner grass being at March of 2010 in develpment.
The cattle receptivity of last years has been of 10 Ha per breeding cow, charge that can be increased significantly through the implantation of cultivated pastures like whiner grass and digitaria, species that are present a very good adaptation to the conditions of the area.
At Marcho f 2010 the establishment counts with 200 breeding cows and calves and Bulls.
Other alternative would be to buy calves to producer destinated to breeding , and rebreed at natural field obtaining a receptivity of 1.0000 calves/Ha.
On the other hand the sheep production activity would be analizad taking advantage the existente of a refrigerador model in the town which takes charge of the task of goats and sheeps and is in conditions for export.
The water for the consumption of the animals is located at 3 meters depth counting with the particularity to present together with the neighbor fields eyes of sweet water (an análysis of water and a study of detection of water made it by a geologist exist).
It also counts with 3 perforations. This conditions give potentiality to the field for install the watering and to improve the aptitude.

IMPROVEMENTS

Post fixed to new conditions since a few years ago with a shed - garage stick to thesame one.
2 Sets of corrals and sleeve, one new and other in regular conditions.
3 perforations.
4 mills of 8 feet in good conditions.
5 Tanks of galvanized foil in good conditions
