CHARACTERISTICS

Natural pastures field, of low mount, ideal for extensive cattle raising, based on bovine BREEDING AND RE-BREEDING.
The relief is characterized by down hills, plateaus and depressions, with an area of 300 Ha that are salty, with accumulation of water.
There is a pipeline that supplies water to the field during winter.
There is a new natural pasture, due to accidental fires some years ago. The main vegetation belongs to gramineus type like stipa and setaria.
The area´s natural fauna is abundant, such as deers, wild boars, grey foxes, pampean wild hares, ostriches, piggeons, etc
Nowadays, there are 700 cows with calves in good condition.
There is a load capacity of 1.000 mothers, with calves. There is a possibility to increase the load of 1.500 or even more, according to management improvements
Although the area developement is based on the extensive cattle raising, there were isolated efforts to demonstrate how new technologies and new products such as organic meats, deer production and boar meat transformation. These are alternatives to the traditional local production.
Soils have a franc sandy texture, and are deep as well.
The average rain registration of the area is arround 300 to 400 mm per year, but it has been increased by the climatologic influence of nearby dams
